Zerosum v1.1.0 — Polish & Import

Your budget, refined. This release brings YNAB import support, a rebuilt credit card experience, smoother tables, and dozens of quality-of-life improvements across the board.

📥 YNAB Import

  • Import your YNAB budget — a step-by-step wizard that takes your YNAB CSV exports and brings in accounts, categories, transactions, and monthly assignments

  • Smart account detection — automatically identifies budget, credit card, tracking, and loan accounts

  • Transfer matching — pairs up transfers between accounts so your history stays clean

  • Multiple entry points — start an import from the budget switcher, the empty state, or the Create Budget dialog

💳 Credit Cards

  • Activity breakdown — see spending, returns, funded amounts, and payments at a glance in a new popover

  • Rebuilt payment panel — shows prior balance, monthly activity, overspent categories, and underfunded alerts in one view

  • Smarter overspend colors — yellow when all overspending is on credit cards, red when cash overspending exists

🏠 Loans

  • Payment status — shows "Payment made" when a payment has been recorded instead of "Ready to pay"

  • Loan payment names — activity popover now shows the actual loan name instead of "Unknown payee"

  • Cleaner layout — compact payoff chart and consistent card styling

🔍 Search & Tables

  • Smarter search — combobox results now prioritize prefix and word-start matches (searching "ent" shows "Entertainment" before "Mortgage Payment")

  • Compact status badges — smaller, tidier badges in transaction rows

📱 Mobile

  • Scrollable popovers — date pickers and other popovers inside dialogs now scroll properly on small screens

  • Sidebar closes automatically — opening the command palette from Quick Actions no longer leaves the sidebar open

🚀 App Experience

  • Branded loading screen — a pulsing Zerosum logo on launch instead of a blank page, with automatic dark mode support

  • Add categories & groups from anywhere — keyboard shortcuts (C / G) and header menu now work on every page, not just the budget
