There appears to be no way to add tags to split transactions. The tag icon does not show to the left of the transaction parent or children. Right-clicking does not show an option to add a tag.

Thanks for flagging this. You’re right that the normal tag shortcut was missing for split transaction legs while viewing the transaction.
Tags are supported on split legs, but before this fix you had to enter edit mode to add or change them.
We’ve updated this so split legs show the tag control in the same way regular transactions do. The parent split row itself won’t have tags; tags belong to the individual split legs.
