Split Month Budget View
A favourite in the old YNAB (pre 2016) was to be able to compare two budget months side by side. This was also possible in Apps like Actual.A possible way to achieve this would be by way of a “pop out” which could then be cancelled after viewing?

Hey! Just shipped this 🎉 Live in v1.5.4 — there's a new Compare button in the budget toolbar (desktop) that opens a second month-trio of columns right next to the current one. Shared category column, fully editable on both sides, and a Lock toggle that moves both months in step (handy for year-over-year too). It's not a popout — went with inline columns since that's how the old YNAB and Actual handled it, and it keeps everything in one keyboard/scroll context. UI will probably get tweaked over time (I'm already eyeing the side panel for a compare-aware view), but for now this should cover the core workflow you were after. Give it a spin and let me know how it feels!
