I believe Lunch Flow also offer a UK bank feed so that would be a great option!
Great timing — I'm actually already in talks with the Lunchflow developer about a full integration! It's definitely on the roadmap, and ideally they'd become my primary bank sync provider. The one thing I want to avoid is a clunky flow where you'd have to go to Lunchflow, copy an API key, and paste it into Zerosum. That's not the experience I'm going for. Luckily, they're currently building a proper OAuth-style integration that would let you connect directly from within Zerosum through a widget — no manual key copying involved. If that comes together the way I'm hoping, it would also be included in the price of Zerosum, so no extra cost on your end.
Amazing that sounds awesome!
Hi Rachel 👋 The implementation is done. We are partening with Lunchflow as I said so the pricing will be embbeded in Zerosum Pro subscritpion, and you won't need to keep paying your Lunchflow subscription. That said, we are waiting on Lunchflow to finish setting up the integration to work in this way (billing Zerosum instead of the enduser). If you already have a Lunchflow subscription at the moment, do let me know, and I can enable the option in your Zerosum account so you can paste your Lunchflow API key in Zerosum (new destination in Lunchflow -> API -> copy key and add accounts to this destination). This would mean you can start testing the entire integration and tell me how well it's working (currently using your Lunchflow subscription if you have one) :)
Amazing! I don’t have a lunch flow subscription or account so I will wait for them to set up the integration and get started!
Although I can try it out with a trial account and let you know - I’ll set that up during the week and be in touch!
Awesome, that works too! I'll give you access in a bit so you can try it out on your own time :)
I'm having trouble accessing a lunch flow trial account right now - so I haven't tested yet.
No worries. You should already see the option to insert your LunchFlow API key in your Settings within Zerosum. Once you get access, try it out :) I've been tweaking a lot of the import logic so expect things to change :D
I've got a login finally - small snag, can't link my accounts to ones in lunchflow because it's not an option:
Hi! Okay the way to link now is: Settings -> Paste your Lunchflow API key in there (after adding a REST API destination in Lunchflow, linking your banks there and enabling them on this destination) You should then see your bank accounts listed there in the settings, and when you go back to add account/link existing, it should show lunchflow. Let me know if it doesn't :)
Just saw your screenshot properly. The Lunchflow option should appear as another button if linking an existing. And if adding a new account (linked) it's also another button outside the main "Linked" one. This is cause we will eventually remove all other providers.
Got it! Just waiting for them to sync now thanks :)
Nice! We only start syncing from the point the account is linked onwards. So any new transactions should shart appearing :)
This will be a big advantage over YNAB! My understanding is that Lunch Flow handles Fidelity well while YNAB has been unable to connect since the beginning of the year and still doesn't work! Fidelity has a great CMA which is my main checking account. It's been frustrating not being able to sync it. This alone will get me to switch.
