Filter > Search not finding some transactions

On the transactions page, under Filters > Search > Search transactions ..., what fields are searched (no other criteria selected other than the Search transaction box)?  The search doesn't seem to find all transactions matching the search word.  For example, I searched for "Membership" and it found 10 transactions when it should have found 11.  Membership happens to be a category.  So does the Search only search the Notes field?  The missing transaction does not have "Membership" in the Notes field.

Thanks for flagging this. You were right: the search was not notes-only, but it also was not searching categories. It searched payee, notes, split notes, and tags, so a transaction where “Membership” only appeared as the category could be missed. I found the gap and updated transaction search to include category names as well, including split transaction categories. Searches like “Membership” should now return the expected full set of transactions.
