Automatic budget backups & one-click restore

We're considering automatically backing up your budget once a week, keeping the last 4 snapshots (roughly one month of history). If something goes wrong — accidental deletions, a miscategorization spree, anything — you'd be able to go to Settings and restore your budget to how it looked 1, 2, or 3 weeks ago with a single click. You can always undo actions currently. But this would be there in case you REALLY messed up.Backups would be fully automatic, stored securely on our end, and require no action from you. There'd be no manual export or import involved. Would this give you peace of mind?

Would the existing option remain? To take the occasional manual back up that could be imported into a different app? Just as reassurance against the main server (or the dev team!) becoming inaccessible?

Yes of course. It's a right and I need to always provide an option for you to export all your data. That's the funtionality that currently lives under settings. I can't tho guarantee it will import correctly in other apps... it wouldn't make sense for me to be building an export that is compatible with other apps as it can break and I dont know how other apps work etc. But the data will always be there for you to export.

I would absolutely love to have this feature! Hopefully never to use it but for peace of mind! It would also give some freedom to experiment with the app without fear of screwing things up. One suggestion - maybe include a one day old snapshot - just for this last scenario (testing). Not sure what the server load/costs might be at your end though?
